Continuing Education Requirements

Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons
Licensees are required to complete eight (8) classroom hours of continuing education in Commission-approved courses each annual license period (July-June). However, a person who is issued a salesperson or broker license (either by examination, reciprocity or reinstatement) does NOT have to satisfy the continuing education requirement for the license period during which the license is issued. Thus, they will only have to satisfy the continuing education requirement by the end of the second license period after their license was issued.

Notice Disclaimer: Although we make every effort to accurately summarize the continuing education requirements of each state, you should not rely on our summary. Always verify your continuing education requirements with the state regulators who supervise your profession.
