Is my Internet connection speed fast enough?

Solution:

UniversityOfTheNet online training courses typically will run perfectly well over a dialup or other non-broadband type connection. We attempt to make the courses entirely accessible to those in rural areas or those who cannot gain access to DSL or cable Internet services.

Content is almost always fully loaded onto the student's computer before a particular training activity commences. This way all of the wait is front-loaded and there is no need to pause to receive additional material until after a discrete and complete activity is finished and sent back to the UotN servers for scoring and recording.

Most activities will fully load on a student's computer within 30 seconds, even over a dial-upconnection.

Note: Some courses may contain video or some other bandwidth intensive information. This will be noted in the course description shown in the catalog during the purchasing process.
